Integrated Project Delivery

Design Assist
OZZ Electric is your partner for Design Assist projects. This method of project delivery, wherein the contractor provides design assistance to the engineering firm on a given project, has proven to be a partnership yielding valuable results for all parties. As a collaborative member of the design team, we can make a seamless transition into the building phase with a level of familiarity unparalleled to other contractors.
OZZ assumes key areas of responsibility when residing in a design assist role including: a full review and assessment of major electrical systems, locations of electrical rooms and layout, electrical equipment selection, and value engineering to provide cost effective pricing.
Public-Private Partnership
OZZ Electric is qualified to complete Public-Private Partnership (PPP), or P3, ventures where the delivery system is a contract between a government public sector authority and a private party. The private party assumes the financial, technical and operational risks within the project. The private party also typically develops, builds, maintains and operates the facility for a contracted period of time. This project type allows for affordable infrastructure projects to achieve local government goals.
P3 projects take on a variety of forms and with varying degrees of public and private sector involvement as well as and varying levels of public and private sector risk. In fact, risk transfer from the public to the private sector is a critical element of all P3s with the goal being to combine the best capabilities of the public and private in order to deliver a successful build in the most time and cost efficient way.
