Markham Stouffville Hospital

The Markham Stouffville Hospital project included a new emergency department, expanded ambulatory clinics, more inpatient beds and 14 additional operating rooms, a new diagnostic imaging department, a new maternal child care area, and a new mental health unit.  The goal of this project was to meet the needs of the growing population by enhancing access to essential health care services through the construction of a new addition to the south and west of the present building; the existing facility was doubled in size.

OZZ Electric’s scope of work included installing of High Voltage Switchboard, two 4KV 600V transformers, 600v Main Switchboards, 225 KVA UPS units, installation of automatic transfer switches for critical care power panels, low voltage lighting control system, a lighting protection system, a fire alarm system, installation of a new Cisco core data communication system, Nurse Call, a PA system and a security system.
