OZZ in the Community: Windrush Stables – T.R.C

When OZZ decided to participate in the Windrush Stable – Therapeutic Riding Centre charity event, and put the invitation out to staff to participate, we never expected to receive the overwhelming response that we did.

On Wednesday April 30, 2014 OZZ Electric’s Service Team came together in support of a wonderful cause. “Words cannot describe the overwhelming pride I felt as I watched the number of OZZ service vehicles arrive at this charity event” said Paul Sheppard, General Manager of the OZZ Service Group.

When OZZ decided to participate in the Windrush Stable  – T.R.C charity event, and put the invitation out to staff to participate,  we never expected to receive the overwhelming response that we did. Our staff generously donated their time and efforts to make necessary improvements to the facilities lighting system. Windrush Stable is a  non-profit charitable organization offering horseback riding lessons to children and adults with a physical or developmental disability.

Observing the close relationship, teamwork and hard-work demonstrated by the OZZ Service Team was truly a sight to see.  It was also great to see support from the suppliers;

 North American lighting for providing the Stanpro 6 lamp T8 energy efficient fixtures (which replaced the existing 400w MH fixtures) and CNE rentals for providing their lifts to support this event”.     The Windrush Stable owners could not say enough about the support and generosity shown by all.  “I am proud to be a part of this team and proud to have partners like you to work alongside with. Your actions are what make a good company, a great company” said Paul Sheppard to his team.
